About the classes
Usually 30-40 minutes long, as with all classes start with a warm up and stretching movements. Individuals choose the kettlebells that they want , we have kettlebells from 2kg up to 20kg. The huge benefit of kettlebells is that there is endless exercises that can be done, all targeting full body movements.
My name is Ciaran Quinn. I am head instructor at Qfit Galway. I have been successfully running my fitness brand for the past 4 years helping people creating new visions and helping them grow personally. I have been involved in customer service industry all my life where customer satisfaction has been the most important outcome. I am a certified fitness instructor , kettlebell instructor and registered Boxercise Instructor. I have a Training and education diploma from NUIG . I run a very friendly, welcoming, fun and goals orientated fitness centre. I have a very friendly and welcoming approach having worked with groups, individuals, GAA teams, children and senior citizens.

Absolutely, get used to the movements and move naturally to the next weight you are comfortable with. No pressure on what weights you choose. Its most important to get the technique correct first.
Yes absolutely. Kettlebells are sanitized between each class. No sharing of equipment is permitted. We use workout pods to limit your expose to other people. Sanitizing stations can be found throughout the gym.
We insist on face coverings to be worn entering and exiting the building. Hands to be sanitized at the entry point to the classroom and at various stages throughout the session. Room is well ventilated. Only one person permitted on the staircase, in the bathrooms and in the hallway at one time. Physical distancing is practised at all times, workout pods in place for safety. No sharing of exercise equipment and all equipment sanitised between classes. We allow 15/20 minutes between classes to allow for this. Contact tracing paperwork filled out before class and we insist that if anybody is feeling unwell prior to our classes they stay at home and contact GP.
Class sizes are kept a minimum also.
